Dell Sr Network Engineer in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

GENERAL SUMMARY

  • Provides support for all customers as it relates to network design, network operations, network convergence and network security. Manages the planning, development, installation and operations of network systems by evaluating current and future business requirements. Develops, maintains, communicates and executes project plans and schedules, prioritizes requirements, and coordinates teams. Ensures products are compatible with existing and future environmental integration. Identifies, evaluates and resolves financial and business issues. Works on abstract problems across all functional areas within the networking environment. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides support, investigating, analyzing, and resolving problems on network components

  • Makes recommendations on the development of new internal programs or modifications of current systems

  • Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions

  • Forecasts, models, and utilizes advanced analytical tools

  • Creates new procedures and processes to drive desired results

  • Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels

  • Makes recommendations on development of innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems of customers
