What you’ll achieve

As a Validation Architect , you will be responsible for validation strategies for the translated business requirements to engineering requirements and leading the validation design from end-to-end perspective . Y ou will work closely with Solution Architects, User Interface Designers, Development, and test teams to help them understand the requirements and validation strategies to deliver solutions.

You will:

• Be part of the team accountable for building portfolio of Dell Technologies APEX offerings for Block, File, Object and Data Protections

• Responsible for setting and driving validation strategies for End-to-End Solutions covering validation, initial deployment, onboarding, availability, fleet management, security, life cycle management and migrations

• Collaboratively work with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Product Management and Services team to enhance the time to value, solution sizing, scale Offers, customer experience. Act as validation subject matter expert for all issues related to the validation of Offers for ownership, and drive issues to resolutions with incidents

• Advise Engineering Leadership and Product Management to make program decisions based on facts, risks and timelines while maintaining quality. Actively engage with internal teams to develop tooling and increase automation of the offers.

• Provide feedback into product and development teams for service stability and reliability features. Identify opportunities for process improvements, mentor junior team members, interface with project management teams

Essential Requirements

• 15+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or 10+ years with a master’s degree; or equivalent work experience

• Deep expertise in Dell’s Power Portfolio of Server, Storage, Network and Data Protection products

• Experience working in a large enterprise, service provider or partner environment. Expertise with Multi-Protocol Storage Systems, Management and Automation, Data Services

• Experience with the VMware vSphere suite of products such as ESXi, VSAN, NSX, vRealize, vROps, Hyper-v and KVM. Exposure to Data Center Network Environments Switching/Routing protocols, SDN, Load BalancingFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google GCP, CoLo Environments

• Operational knowledge of Storage Area Networks in FibreChannel or Ethernet Transport (iSCSI or NVMeoTCP) environments. Provide deployment standards, reusable artifacts, configuration templates, process steps and documentation.

• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Agile Practices. Ability to foster collaboration and trust across organizations

Desirable Requirements

• Practical expertise in High Availability, Telemetry, Observability, and orchestration

• Managing Datacenter compute environments containing Dell EMC PowerEdge Servers, and management tools such as iDRAC, OME, Redfish, PowerTools

• Programming and scripting skills utilizing languages such as Python, IaaC automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform

• Understanding of Securing environments using Firewalls, TLS, RBAC, Authentication, Password Vault, Certificates

• Exposure to Cloud Native systems built on Micro Services architectures utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD Tools
