Intel Computer Reliability Architect in Hudson, Massachusetts
The Computer Reliability Architect develops concepts and models for fault injection, propagation and evaluation of impact of faults on program behavior and user experience. Additionally, the Computer Reliability Architect develops and evaluates new features, architectures and IP for improving product quality, specifically in the areas of SER, hard faults and ELF targeted at Intel server products
The computer reliability architect will:
Identifie, analyze and resolve subsystem and/or SoC design weaknesses.
Influence the shaping of future products by significantly contributing to the architecture used across design families.
Provide multilayered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Master's degree Computer Engineering or Computer Science or any related discipline with 3+ years of experience or PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or any related discipline + 2 years of experience
1+ years of experience or equivalent coursework:
Computer modeling/simulation techniques such as RTL simulation/emulation, performance modeling, and functional modeling
C++, scripting (Perl or Python)
Knowledge of reliability architectures, fault models, architectural vulnerability factors, and/or fault injection
Knowledge of reliability physics including soft error phenomena, transient error characteristics and manufacturing faults a plus
Understanding of engineering trade-offs required for commercially successful products
