Intel Intern - Pre-Si Verification Engineer in Hudson, Massachusetts
Job Description
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments can range in length from three to 6 months (preferred).
In this role you will are responsible for finding logic bugs present in a microprocessor's design via simulation and formal methods. This includes creating monitors and checkers within the testbench to identify incorrect functional behavior of the design during simulation.
IP Validation responsibilities include:
Validating design functionality and micro-architectural implementation and assumptions
Creating, enhancing, or supporting software tools to improve validation quality
Automating validation tasks in order to complete the CPU in the most efficient fashion possible

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum skills and qualifications:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in Electrical/ Computing Engineering with 3+ month of educational or work experience in the following:

Minimum qualifications:
Must be pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering.
Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA
Preferred qualifications:
We are seeking applicants who are in their second year (or higher) of undergraduate studies in either electrical or computer engineering.
Candidates should have programming experience with one or more object oriented languages as well as experience with RTL (Verilog or VHDL).
