Our Xeon Server Validation Team is seeking Senior Verification Engineers to join us in our quest to ensure no bugs escape to Post-Si and our customers by validating the functional correctness of the digital logic of our CPUs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing SOC verification tasks at a senior level, verifying design and micro-architectural implementation and assumptions

  • Performing all aspects of the SoC logic and verification design flow

  • Performing definition, design, and verification for SoC (System on a Chip) development through simulation and possibly emulation

  • Automating verification tasks in order to complete the CPU in the most efficient way possible

In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will also have:

  • Willingness to multitask and work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 6+ years of experience -OR- a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 4+ years of experience in the industry.

Qualifying Industry experience must include activities such as:

  • Experience with Verification of SOC Global flows

  • Experience with RTL (Verilog or VHDL) and one or more verification methodologies (OVM or UVM)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Object Oriented Programming expertise (System Verilog preferred)

  • Expertise with debug and problem-solving skills relevant to server SoC verification flows

Xeon and Networking Engineering (XNE) focuses on the development and integration of XEON and Networking SOC's and critical IP's sustain Intels Xeon and 5G networking roadmap.
