Intel SOC Design Engineer - Micro-architect in Hudson, Massachusetts
As the ASIC microarchitect, you will be part of the exciting work being done by the Systems Engineering team in Intel's Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group (NSG) which is developing Solid-State Drive (SSD) controller ASICs for both NAND and 3DXP designs. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and motivated engineer to join NSG on a growing team working on next-generation products.
In this position, you will be working with the system architecture and firmware teams to help craft our next SSD controller ASICs. The work involves understanding the inter-relation between the ASIC and the firmware, the performance and power requirements, the system architecture, and then crafting of the ASIC top-level design (coordinating with IP teams’ deliverables). The person in this role is also a leader on the ASIC design team, guiding the full-chip design work and ensuring that the development continues to align with the project goals.

Minimum Qualifications :
BS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degrees.
At least 6 years of industry experience in development of Digital designs & ASICs
Deep knowledge of computer architecture and the inter-action between HW and SW
Proven ability to solve digital design problems in a complex environment.
Understanding of and experience with ASIC development
Knowledge & experience with SystemVerilog
