Intel SOC Pre-Si Verification Engineer in Hudson, Massachusetts

Job Description

If you are passionate about computer design and working with leading SoC Hardware Engineers on Intel's latest architectures, then our Intel-Federal (IFED) SoC Design team has opportunities for you.

In IFED we are passionate about delivering best-in-class accelerator designs that are custom-built for US Government applications. In this position, as a SoC Pre-Si Verification Engineer , you will be part a world class IP and SOC verification team validating groundbreaking high performance accelerator chips that are targeted for high-end compute applications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Overseeing the definition, execution and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) or IP verification

  • Determining architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation.

  • Performing Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs.

  • Contributing to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits

  • Analyzing equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results.

  • Performing all aspects of the SoC design flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing.

This position involves work on a U.S. Government contract which may impose certain security requirements. The government may require that you certify your citizenship status. If you are not a U.S. citizen, the government may require you to pass a security check before you can be approved to work on the project.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, along with 4+ years, or a Master's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering with 3+ years of experience in one, or more, of the following areas:

  • RTL/Logic design on ASIC's or IP blocks or SOC's using System Verilog RTL coding.

  • Computer architecture background.

  • Demonstrable experience writing System Verilog.

  • Programming in C++, Perl and Assembly Algorithms and digital logic.

  • Proprietary, and 3rd-party, logic design tools familiarity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Design-For-Test (TAP, Scan, BIST) Architecture, testing and flows.

  • Knowledge of Tessent-based DFT solutions.

  • Emulation experience a plus.

  • UVM/OVM testbench knowledge and experience.

  • Post-Si validation/debug. SoC integration

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
