Job Description
If you are passionate about computer design and working with leading SoC Hardware Engineers on Intel's latest architectures, then our Intel-Federal (IFED) SoC Design team has opportunities for you.
In IFED we are passionate about delivering best-in-class accelerator designs that are custom-built for US Government applications. In this position, as a SoC Pre-Si Verification Engineer , you will be part a world class IP and SOC verification team validating groundbreaking high performance accelerator chips that are targeted for high-end compute applications. This is a great opportunity to join a talented team that is innovating in SoC/IP design and verification of multimillion gate designs in advanced Intel’s process nodes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Overseeing the definition, execution and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) or IP verification
Contributing to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits
Ensuring the logic design meets the architectural specifications and provides feedback to design
Creating and optimizing the validation environment, tools, and methodologies
Developing or using checking software to compare model behavior against a specification
Generating focused and random test cases, analyzing coverage, and debugging failure cases
Writing software to provide controllability and observability into the model
Analyzing micro-architectural features to identify possible problem areas
Reviewing and directing technical aspects of the engagement with Contingent Workforce

Qualifications
This is an Intel Federal Position. This position involves work on a U.S. Government contract which may impose certain security requirements. The government may require that you certify your citizenship status. If you are not a U.S. citizen, the government may require you to pass a security check before you can be approved to work on the project.

Minimum Education and Experience :
A Bachelor’s in Electrical / Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and 4+ years’ experience, OR a Master’s in one of the subjects listed, with 3+ years’ experience in one, or more, of the following areas:
Validation of ASIC's or IP blocks or SOC's
UVM/OVM testbench experience
Computer architecture
Programming in C++, Perl and Assembly Algorithms and digital logic
Demonstrable experience writing System Verilog
Proprietary and 3rd-party logic design tools knowledge
Preferred Skills :
SoC integration and/or verification
DFX, design for test, debug, and manufacturing
Post-Si validation/debug

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
