Solidus Technical Solutions, Inc. C++ Software Engineer in Lexington, Massachusetts

Solidus is searching for a C++11 Software Engineer. Position Scope: * Provide support to the software team in designing and implementing a software defined radio testbed * Implement software components within an infrastructure of a complex distributed system --Utilize System Modeling/Unified Modeling Language (SYML/UML) design techniques as part of the overall development process * Contribute in different areas of development including networking, hardware abstraction, UI, data transfer and archiving Required Skills: * U.S. Citizen and able to get a Security Clearance. Active Secret preferred * MS plus 3 years minimum relevant experience, or BS plus 5 years minimum relevant experience Computer Science and Software Engineering preferred. Must Have 5 Years Experience with: * Software/Algorithm Development * Languages: C/C++ 11 or later * Standard Template Library Boost * JavaScript Development * Software Design/Development Experience Also with: * Linux development environment * Developing for resource constrained systems and hardware abstraction layers * Object-oriented development and Portable Operating System Interface (POSIX) * Software lifecycle processes and their associated tools * Software modelling and the Unified Modelling Language (UML) Preferred Skills: * Languages: Python, Java Script * Tools: MagicDraw (or similar), Atlassian Tool Suite (Bamboo, Jira), Git * Familiarity with MATLAB * Design Patterns, Data Structures, Functional Programming Principles Job: 3998 Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
