Job Description

Solidus is searching for a Cyber Vulnerability Analyst. Candidate will join a team that provides vulnerability analysis testing for a variety of government customers. The candidate will provide software development to help build and maintain an on site fuzzer.


  • Write to meet specifications developed on site to add additional modules for our existing fuzzer

  • Participate in shaping the direction of our fuzzer

  • Test applicability of academic and industry advances in fuzzing to our platform

  • Maintain existing fuzzer code


  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

  • PhD plus 5 years min experience or MS plus 8 years minimum experience

  • Expert in C and Python programming

  • Linux and Windows kernel development experience

  • Experience writing Hypervisors

  • Experience with modern software development tools including git and static analysis tools

  • Familiarity with x86/x86-64 assembly languages


  • Knowledge of symbolic execution and other program analysis techniques

  • Familiarity with x86, PowerPC, and/or ARM architectures

  • Experience with fuzzing; Software vulnerability research experience

  • Experience with reverse engineering
