Description
Title: FPGA Development Engineer
Location: Lexington, MA
Clearance: Secret eligibility
LinQuest is seeking an FPGA Development Engineer in Lexington, MA to support a dynamic team of industry-leading professionals specializing in advanced communications systems development. The team uses a combination of technical analysis, modeling, simulation, emulation, prototype development, and tests to develop new communications systems and evaluate and predict their performance.

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and test communications systems
Develop Digital Signal Processors (DSP) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) firmware, which involves Simulink modeling, Verilog/VHDL (Hardware Description Language) code development, simulation, synthesis, timing closure and FPGA verification
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree preferred
10+ years of directly related FPGA development experience
Proficiency in all aspects of FPGA design and verification
In-depth familiarity with Xilinx FPGAs, Vivado, Integrated Logic Analyzer (ILA), Synplify, ModelSim, Linux (Bash, Perl, Tcl, Python), test equipment, and source/revision control tools (SVN, Git).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired Skillset/Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret clearance
Experience with wireless communications systems and communications theory, including waveform signal processing
Software development for embedded processors using C/C++ for DSP applications
MATLAB and Simulink modeling
