Hawkins Point Partners Infrastructure/ Validation Project Manager in Lexington, Massachusetts

Hawkins Point is looking for a Project Manager-to join our Lexington, MA team. This person must be able to independently drive tactical assigned tasks to completion. Must have at least five years of customer support expereince supporting scientific validated (21 CFR) laboratory environments. This person will execute day to day Information Technology Infrastructure support including scientific User Account Management duties, process new user account requests, verify training of new software and add Active Directory. Must understand the validated documentation process and be able to write (SOP) standard operating procedures to software upgrades and information technology system enhancements. This person will work with business teams to review vendor documents and complete computer system validation deliverables.


Core Duties:

  • Provide operational support of laboratory (drug discovery) instrument adjacent information technology systems.

  • Provide resolution of day-to-day issues, maintain Information Technology Inventory across existing MS-SharePoint Inventory system.

  • Support User Account Management including: Process New User Account requests, verify end user training and add Active Directory.

  • This person will execute first time provisioning of a new computer setup including joining to domain.

  • Execute Information Technology responsibilities: Consult with application vendor to establish location of data and metadata objects.

  • Provide and document stored (main data, audit trail, methods, reports, templates, etc.).

  • Work with vendors to resolve in application issues/deficiencies that are information technology related, such as backup mechanisms, instrument communications, in application failures, conflicts

with Antivirus, group policies.

  • Setup proper backup strategies for the data objects identified, including the development for specific lab instrument applications.

  • Use various information technology tools such as windows permissions, active directory, and group policies and adhere to data integrity and identify DI Risks.

  • Build and deploy computers for instruments and set up on the Network.

  • Author, for review and approval, System Design and Configuration Specifications.

  • Support (SDCS) that document all information technology related design and application configuration elements.

  • Author, for review and approval prior to execution, and execute Installation.

  • Qualifications (IQ) and Backup and Restore Qualification.

  • Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in a related discipline.
