Job Description

Solidus is seeking a software developer to help build an architecture for tactical dissemination of high precision space data. This software will use modern messaging services, data models, databases and processing algorithms. This position will work with other developers to build a government reference design architecture that can be transitioned to industry.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

  • BS plus 1 year minimum experience, Associates Degree plus 2 years minimum experience, or Technical School Certificate plus 3 years minimum experience

  • Candidate must have experience in a high level programming language like Java

  • Candidate must have the ability to write scalable and maintainable code

Preferred:

  • Experience implementing algorithms in some programming language Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases

  • Experience with Build tools like Ant and Maven; Experience with other modern scripting languages like Perl, Python, Ruby & Matlab
