Job Description

Volt is seeking a Software engineer principal to work in an integrated team with Air Force engineers to develop applications, tools, and software systems needed by war fighters in the Air Force Air and Space Operations Centers around the world.

Working with cutting edge application deployment/management and cloud delivery platforms to deliver solutions to the field.

Solutions are usually web-based applications that use HTML5 and JavaScript for the front end, and Spring Boot for the back end. The team will use agile methodologies, such as Scrum, extreme programming, and test driven development, to build solutions for the user and to get immediate feedback from stakeholders.

Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree with 9+ years’ experience or Masters with 7+ years’ experience.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years experience Java development experience

  • 5 years experience JavaScript experience

  • 5 years HTML5 experience

  • Experienced with front end tools HTML5 and JavaScript

  • Familiar with back end tools Spring Boot 5 years experience with Agile Methodologies

US Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
