MIT Lincoln Laboratory Summer Research Program Intern in Lexington, Massachusetts

The Cyber Systems and Operations Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks a computer science intern to develop a lightweight, customizable shell for deep introspection of embedded, mobile computing platforms. The purpose of this customizable and configurable shell is to run on an embedded device and probe hardware and memory devices to construct a virtual model of the device. The model is then run in a virtual machine where complete observation of the security state may be observed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate student in computer science or related field.

  • Ability to program in C/C++.

Highly Desired:

  • Familiarity with virtualization environments – especially cross-platform emulation environments such as QEMU.
