MIT Lincoln Laboratory Summer Research Program Intern in Lexington, Massachusetts
The Integrated Systems and Concepts Group seeks a summer intern to develop and test software in support of space based missions. Project activities may include hardware in the loop setup, algorithm development or optical design and testing and assisting team members to solve hard problems and develop innovative systems.
The Integrated Systems and Concepts Group seeks a summer intern to support development of small satellite propulsion systems. Project activities will include propulsion technology trade studies, mission architecture, and analysis of systems currently under development. Opportunities in spacecraft dynamics and control, thruster design, and design of power efficient electronics are available depending on candidate experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Optical Sciences, or a related field. He or she should also have experience coding in Python, Matlab, C/C++ or other similar high level languages. Experience on previous space programs is preferred. Candidate must have at least 3 years of undergraduate study prior to employment.
