Solidus is looking for a Systems Administrator to perform hands-on tactical tasks on a specific program and for the flight facility/hangar networks. Responsibilities: * Manage system/server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability * Diagnose and perform repairs on faulty system/server hardware * Install, update, and troubleshoot systems/servers * Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures * Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures * Conduct periodic system maintenance including cleaning (both physically and electronically), disk checks, routine reboots, data dumps, and testing * Provide ongoing optimization and problem-solving support Required: * U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Security Clearance. Active Secret preferred. * Bachelor’s Degree * 6 years Networking Applications and Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, DHCP, SSH, FTP and HTTP/S. * 6 years Networking experience (routers/switches/firewalls/servers) * 6 years Troubleshoot and Resolve Complex Networking Issues * 6 years Scripting Experience: Python, Ansible or Bash * 6 years Configure and Maintain a Number of Linux Systems Utilizing Scripting Languages and Automation Tools * 6 years Hardware: Intel/AMD, Cisco, Sun/Oracle, Dell, Apple, EMC, NetApp * 6 years Hardware and Software Integration * 6 years Redhat Linux Systems Administration * 6 years System Administration * 6 years Ubuntu Systems Administration experience Preferred: * Experience with managing classified IT systems * Experience and familiarity with multiple operating systems such as Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019, Windows 7 and 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu * Experience maintaining directory services. (e.g., Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, etc.) * Nice to have Skill in using virtual machines.
