Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Analyst, Kronos, Incorporated, Lowell, MAResponsible for the detailed design, planning, construction, deployment and support of technical components required for Kronos data warehouse data integration needs specifically within the Finance business group. Specific responsibilities will include the following:• Working with project and business stakeholders to understand the business requirements in order to define a design that best meets business and technical needs.• Handling end-to-end process integrations, customization, maintenance and deployment of middleware components on iPaaS platforms including Informatica Cloud, Boomi or Mulesoft.• Defining the integration and dataflow architectures, and designing the APIs that can be a point of stability to develop against in the short term and will endure as the platform technologies around them change.• Collaborating with business analysts, data architects and solution architects during data modeling, data mapping and system specification activities.• Transforming business-oriented functional specifications into detailed technical specifications.• Diagram technical decompositions, describe technical processes and data components, and design exception handling and controls.• Ensuring technical standards and architectural best practices are consistently followed by all team members and 3rd party vendors.• Ensuring code base traceability to design and development and ensuring dependencies are met and proper packaging and deployment strategies are followed.• Evaluating and estimating integration efforts for projects and change orders.• Coordinating, controlling and reviewing work deliverables for on-site and off-shore developers.• Overseeing developers in unit and string testing and consistently delivering on time and high-quality products.• Conducting technical code reviews, providing project related status reporting, coordinating all release planning and guiding the development team through all project phases.• Collaborating with QA team to develop and execute test strategies and plans.• Participating in QA, UAT and production support related to the project.• Leading release and implementation activities, including providing input into implementation planning efforts.
Qualifications
Qualifications:This position requires either (i) a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Information Systems or Technology and 4 years of experience as a Data Warehouse Analyst or (ii) 6 years of experience as a Data Warehouse Analyst. In either case, this experience must include 3 years in a Team Lead position.Must also have experience working with the following:• Using Informatica PowerCenter with multiple database systems (SQL Server and Oracle).• Developing complex SQL statements, PL/SQL packages and procedures.• Writing and executing UNIX shell scripts and managing job scheduling.• Working with SaaS based products and technologies including specifically SOAP, REST & XML and SaaS integration technologies including Informatica Cloud and Dell Boomi.• Oracle EBS.• Data Warehouse data modeling principles.Will accept any qualified combination of education, training and/or experience.
