Kronos is looking for a Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to assist in writing code to automatically verify our quality, define the test strategy, technologies, and implement new processes/tools to streamline our quality. You will play an integral part in the development and support of a brand new, cutting-edge solution that will change the way our users access and interact with their workforce data. We are looking for a customer first attitude and an appreciation for operational excellence.The individual in this role will have the following responsibilities:• Design and implement automated test suites in a fast-paced agile environment using Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, & Continuous Deployment concepts to allow for efficient delivery of high quality products.• Develop test scripts using Java• Implement successful test strategies resulting in efficient test development and execution models.• Drive the overall SDLC towards quality-centric methodologies.• Execute tests, interpret results, and communicate on a regular basis, resulting in quick solutions to any quality concerns.• Work on maintaining/building test infrastructure
The following core skills are required for success in this position:• Design and implement automated test suites in a fast-paced agile environment using Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, & Continuous Deployment concepts to allow for efficient delivery of high quality products.• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field• 8+ years of experience as a Software or Quality Engineer or Software Engineer with coding skills in Java or other modern programming language (OOP) required• Knowledge of test automation, test tool creation, automation frameworks required, preferably with the following tools (Coded UI, Selenium, REST API, etc.)• Experience designing and coding with an emphasis on building test automation and tools.• Experience working with robust automated tests with a high level of maintainability.• Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment and utilizing virtual machines• Experience working in a SaaS environment.• Knowledge of full software development life cycle, QA methodology, tools and software testing standards#LI-POST
