Hardware Design EE

job summary:

The Hardware Engineer will develop forward model architectures for radar sensing products within quality, time and cost restraints.

  • Complete circuit analysis. and complete schematic capture

  • Interface with ECAD for circuit board layout, compliance with Manufacturing Design Rules

  • Control and release Electrical BOM

  • Work with product assurance to develop test specifications on required test equipment

  • Interface with EMC activities to ensure compliance and final approvals from customer and suppliers for development of component specifications, resolving open issues and ensuring parts availability

  • Lead design reviews and identify, track, and implement necessary design changes

  • Perform electrical development of bench testing

  • Documentation of all aspects in the product development process

  • Development of hardware/software interface specifications

  • Execute development in accordance with APDS

  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

What you'll bring:

  • BSEE + minimum 5yrs

  • Experience with circuit design based on mixed technology (analog and digital), electronics design tools such as: Circuit Simulator, CAD and lab equipment (power supply, logic analyzers, signal generators, scopes)

  • Experience in design product based on real-time embedded micro-controller and/or analog circuits and knowledge of electronic component technologies

  • Training in Quality Management Systems, Circuit Development Process, FMEA and circuit manufacturing process.

  • Strong background in electronics automotive circuit development

  • Skill in ASIC development
