Kronos is looking for a passionate technical manager with high volume web application experience to join our team responsible for Advanced Product Development. This individual needs to be able to deliver on the technical vision of the company and will work with clients, product managers, analysts, architects and engineers to plan, design, develop, test and implement WFM/HCM Solutions consistent with the business objective.
•Responsible for leading remote / distributed WFR team through design, development, testing, documentation and analysis of modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products, Managing Dev/QA team members
•Develop and/or execute project plans and priorities
•Support production operations for the SMB WFR cloud based Time and Attendance solution.
•Work quickly and autonomously on complex issues where analysis of use cases, situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors and involves investigating issues and code execution, potentially, across all levels of the application stack, from database to browser, including external libraries.
•Interact with support, production operations, product management for development and support of WFR application
•Be hands on with troubleshooting production/development issues
•Provide Technical guidance to the team, oversee performance analysis, diagnosis and resolution and Support deployment of solution to production
•Eight plus years of development experience in OOP is required
•Strong experience building with Java/J2EE web applications is a must as well as experience with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server is required
•Experience managing teams (including remote teams) working on cloud-based multi-tenant applications is desirable
•Experience with T&A/ payroll systems / HRMS solutions, building applications using agile methodologies and supporting applications in production is a plus
•Experience with APM tools a plus
