Green Mountain Coffee IoT Product Manager in MA, Massachusetts

At Keurig Green Mountain, our Keurig Connected Business Unit (KCBU) team is charged with developing and executing our overall IoT strategy, including defining the connected product roadmap, implementing the enabling technology platforms to bring them to market, and pursuing the data monetization opportunities that connected products can deliver.

Keurig is looking for a Technical Cloud Product Manager – responsible for driving and executing product strategy as well as management of our cross-application, cloud-based features and services. Experience in analytics, SaaS and IoT product management will be the foundation for a successful candidate. Additionally, candidates with experience in image recognition, machine learning and artificial intelligence are preferred.

What you will do:

  • Synthesize product requirements for an end-to-end connected device platform, covering the entire stack— device connectivity, cloud, data and app domains—for millions of devices

  • Partner with engineering, data security, software architects, program management, support, data scientists and other cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop multi-year roadmaps for a rapidly growing customer base

  • Continually interact with outside vendors, consultants, partners and customers in order to make sound, recommendations for strategic decisions regarding implementation alternatives across the entire stack

  • Research emerging IoT technologies and develop POC’s on proposed technologies with internal and external partners

  • Balance the focus on near-term execution and decisions with long-term, strategic needs of the organization

  • Guide and coach on Agile techniques and ways of working to help improve teams and software development process

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices by attending relevant conferences and reading widely

  • Encourage contribution to open source software development, standardization of technologies, and evolution of best practices

What you must have:

  • BS/MS in computer science, computer engineering or related degree (or equivalent experience)

  • 5 years of product management experience focused on developing technical, software and data products at scale with proven success in working to create and deliver services in a continuous integration and deployment environment

  • Broad knowledge of enterprise IT and/or cloud Saas markets and products

  • Strong experience in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence

  • Extraordinary organizational skills and attention to detail; able to shift priorities quickly and remain calm and focused under pressure; able to manage multiple projects/requests and project deliverables

  • Exercises good judgment; understands when to involve others in the decision-making process

  • Ability to work well independently and with a team
