The Scrum Master is responsible for managing scrum teams and helping teams to leverage agile principles, practices and frameworks in order to deliver high value business capabilities.

What you will do:

  • Guide and serve teams that deliver technology solutions, through effective application of the Lean/Agile principles and frameworks including Scrum, Kanban Method

  • Provides leadership and coaching of scrum teams in all aspects of scrum (facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings, daily routines, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, managing flow, calculating velocity, limiting work in progress, etc.)

  • Assesses the maturity of the team and organization and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and appropriate for the team and organization

  • Ensures the team is practicing the core agile principles of self-direction, collaboration, business prioritization, team accountability, and transparency, toward the consistent delivery of working product

  • Ensures that release deliverables are clearly communicated to the team

  • Identifies risks and supports mitigation activities

  • Removes impediments that would prevent the team from achieving its sprint and release goals (internal and external to the team)

  • Ensures that retrospectives produce actionable tasks; follows through to ensure that recommendations are implemented successfully and in a timely manner

  • Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

  • Assists with internal communication, improves transparency, and radiates information

  • Reviews scrum processes, drives scrum process improvements and coach team to follow agile/scrum.

  • Follow all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by Keurig and the department.

  • Perform other duties as requested by management

What you must have:

  • 2 years as a Scrum master for a SW or FW development team

  • Must be a certified Scrum Master

  • Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred

  • Knowledge of other project management methodologies a plus

  • Experience in scrum on an Embedded SW / Hardware development project

Highly Preferred:

  • Experience with Atlassian Tool Chain (JIRA, Confluence)

  • Hands-on engineering experience in product development

  • Experience in consumer products

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar


Predominantly sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding/computer work required (67% - 100% of the workday)
