Raytheon Technologies Finance Manager - Tactical Solutions in Marlborough, Massachusetts
This is an opportunity to join the Tactical Solutions Finance team within RI&S as a Manager Program Cost Scheduling and Control. The effective candidate will collaborate with key leaders across all functions in the Program Office to implement a portfolio of programs with $2B+ in LRP opportunities and a growing list of development programs, intra-organizational programs for enterprise pursuits, and strategic investment projects.
In this role, the candidate will lead a growing team of analysts in executing a variety of program and financial control actions, including supporting quarterly Estimates-at-Complete (EACs), Monthly Operation Reviews (MBRs), and contract-specific external deliverables (IPMR/CFSR). In addition, primary responsibilities will include utilizing the full complement of program controls tools (Analysis for Office, SAP/APEX, PMX Tool Suite) to provide targeted EVMS analysis that drives efficiencies and meets internal and external EVMS compliance standards.
This position will be an integrated part of a fast paced finance team where tactical thinking, multitasking and personal initiative are key requirements. The selected candidate will be able to provide support for ad hoc data reporting as well as participating in senior level projects and product-line initiatives. The portfolio has high visibility at all levels of the CAMS and RI&S organizations; frequent exposure to senior management should be expected.
Key Contributions Will Include And Are Not Limited To:
Performance measurement against established budgets
Quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) preparation
Internal/External Earned Value management and tracking
Frequent customer communication
Building and managing a growing team of analysts in a rapidly expanding portfolio.
minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
Excellent desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office suite
Experience with key finance tools including PRISM, Business Warehouse, PMX and APEX
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and EACs
self-guided, self-motivated, and highly organized
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Previous external earned value reporting
Must be flexible and willing to deal with a wide range of work assignments
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Typically requires Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics or related Business Major preferred) and a minimum 8 years prior experience or
An Advanced Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years experience
