    What you’ll do

    The Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) organization embodies the hub of lifecycle engineering at TJX, delivering, maintaining, and optimizing our technology portfolio at the cloud scale. We are a service-output team that strives to provide outstanding experiences to thousands of TJX associates, business partners, and application delivery teams across the portfolio.

    As anInfrastructure Software Automation Engineeryou will be responsible for configuring the technology used at our stores. This includes but is not limited to Servers, Point Of Sale Desktops and hand-held equipment that our store associates use to Markdown our product.

    You will develop software for Infrastructure build Infrastructure as Code and through automation.

  • Analyze potential changes and enhancements to system software and databases to determine compliance impact on existing production systems, system design standards and operating procedures.

  • Coordinate medium to high complexity Infrastructure changes and implementations.

  • Partner within project teams on Compliance and Security protocols. There may be opportunities to lead teams on smaller projects.

  • Perform Infrastructure Engineering and Administration maintenance tasks and analyze process for improvement.

    What you’ll need

We seek technical managers with domain expertise and good interpersonal skills, as our positions rely heavily on relationships with key business and IT partners. You'll be part of influencing a multi-year roadmap for delivering enterprise-grade technologies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Math or equivalent related experience;

  • Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience configuring and supporting infrastructure specific automation with exposure to the latest technology;

  • Proficient with one or more of the following infrastructure automation toolsets: PowerShell ISE, Version control, Ansible, Splunk Phantom, etc.;

  • Proficient with one or more of the following skills within Infrastructure Technology: Windows, Unix/Linux, Mainframe, Virtual technologies, IT tools, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), SQL, and other relevant technologies;

  • Working knowledge of the Sarbanes Oxley requirements and controls;

  • Knowledge of Infrastructure Hardware and Software Technologies and best practices.
