Hologic Lead Solution Analyst, IS Accounting Solutions in Marlborough, Massachusetts
The Lead Solutions Analyst will provide business process guidance, implementation expertise, problem solving, and on-going operational support to the global Finance user community of the Oracle eBusiness Suite and other connected applications. This role will interact with all levels of the Finance and IS organizations.
Provide business process guidance, solution architecture and on-going operational support worldwide
Build partnerships with key stakeholders in the business and across Information Services
Develop business cased working with Finance leaders to support investments.
Oracle Financials subject matter expert.
Design and implement innovative solutions by collecting and analyzing business requirements, procedures, and issues.
Perform application setup and configuration in support of the implementation of new modules, operating units, or functionality
Collaborate with cross functional teams on impacts of business decisions across the Oracle platform and provide input on processes and policies that affect the Finance space
Communicate with the technical and reporting teams to ensure that business requirements are translated to design specifications and confirm that testing efforts are adequate
Strong consultative and interpersonal skill to build partnerships & manage engagements with business and Information Services
Solid understanding of core Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 Financials applications, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and General Ledger
Strong organizational skills and process-oriented mindset.
Experience working with business owners and stakeholders to develop and document business needs and turn into working solutions.
Skilled at translating technical terminology into terms that business users can understand.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage time and workload on multiple projects/initiatives.
Knowledge of US GAAP accounting best practices and trends
Strong business process analytical skills, solutions architecture, team building and communications skills
Skilled at influencing others to achieve results
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or Business (preferably Accounting)
Professional Services/Consulting background preferred
8+ years of related professional experience
3-5 years of experience managing and supporting Oracle Financials
Light technical skills (SQL Plus, Workflow Builder) a plus
