Hologic Lead Solutions Analyst, BSH R&D - Marlborough, MA in Marlborough, Massachusetts
The Sr. Solutions Analyst/Lead, R&D is a seasoned analyst responsible for providing sound guidance and insight on the uniform and interoperable software enterprise architecture across Breast & Skeletal Health Solutions by contributing to a culture of sound architectural design and implementing industry leading practices. S/he will add value by partnering with the Director, Solutions Architecture, R&D to help guide the architectural strategy for product platforms for Healthcare IT and Connectivity and support the product life cycle management across R&D for BSH.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, enhancing their business activities through flexible and responsive customer service.
Partner with R&D and IS Cybersecurity in their efforts to ensure Connectivity, Interoperability, and Cybersecurity of Hologic devices and creation of a Connectivity Center of Excellence for the division.
Work with and provide insight to R&D on the product integration and connectivity strategy that deliver cloud/SaaS solutions and mobile-first solutions with a cutting-edge user experience.
Proactively communicate with stakeholders, providing clear and timely status updates
Partner with product architects across the product platforms. Provide a balanced perspective of technical, architectural, and business considerations; be a catalyst for transforming and future-proofing our architecture; and be able to communicate to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences both internally and with clients and business partners.
Support the efforts in establishing scalability and best practices for product platforms. Provide insights on product/system improvement and development based on scalability, performance, and cost.
Provide architectural leadership and guidance to collaborate and support all areas of the Hologic Business. Will also provide support and guidance on Application integration and Middleware solutions, working closely with IS Global Services.
Support the product life cycle management process and applications for BSH R&D. Ensure technical and workflow issues are identified, researched, resolved, and communicated in a timely manner.
Education
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Services, Medical Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent MS – IS/IT desired
Experience
Minimum of 10+ years related work experience developing, designing and architecting enterprise scale solutions, including experience in IT Application Management, IT Architecture and Solutions
Architecting and developing enterprise-class APIs and RESTful web services.
UI development technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, Node.JS, AngularJS and bootstrap.
Developing and deploying cloud/SaaS solutions.
Relational and non-structured databases.
SOA, BPM (Business Process Management) and other Middleware tools
EPM and BI solutions
Waterfall and Agile methodologies (i.e. TOGAF and Scrum)
Work/effort scoping and estimation
Managing and delivering high profile projects
Medical Device Industry experience preferred
Business process management experience preferred
Skills and knowledge must span multiple architecture domains (e.g. Application/solution architecture, Technical/Infrastructure architecture, Information/Data Architecture & Business Architecture) to ensure balanced solutions. Well versed in various enterprise technologies, including but not limited to:
Modern OOP languages (i.e. .NET, Java), scripting languages (i.e. Perl)
Relational databases (high performing appliances and traditional client server)
Schedulers (i.e. Autosys)
Middleware (i.e. WebLogic, Informatica)
SOA – Service Oriented Architecture
Identity Management
Collaboration
Mobile Platform
ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning
Product Life Cycle Management (Oracle/Agile)
