Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Operations Development Analyst position works within the Information Services organization interacting with the Software Development team and provides Operational, Technical, and Project Management leadership in relation to the implementation and support of mission critical applications.

The role requires the ability to work jointly with the Business Community and IS teams, as well as with external consultants, vendors, Managed Services and System Integrators.

The Operations Development Analyst will be accountable and responsible for all operational support, troubleshooting, coordinating regression testing, and maintenance of the integration platform.

  • Utilize monitoring, trending and operational metrics to prevent integration issues

  • Create scalable support processes, formalize RCAs and remediate cross-systems issues

  • Review proposed changes following best practice procedures and operational handoff procedures.

  • Assisting development teams with Change Management and Code Migration.

  • Planning and execution of upgrades, which includes scheduling downtime, user acceptance and sign-off.

  • Communicate progress on system support issues and projects implementation to management and user groups.

  • Manage DBA / 3rd party managed services/ Application Support/ Cloud Support relationships to achieve required functionality and support.

  • Assisting in scheduling maintenance, capacity planning, and performance monitoring of the systems.



  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education, training, and progressive experience.


  • 1-3 years of experience with application development and platform administration of MuleSoft or other middleware platform such as WebMethods, Oracle SOA Suite, Dell Boomi.

  • 5-8 years of experience in IT/IS field


  • Strong, Java, PL/SQL, SQL, DBA skills or familiarity with Oracle database architecture.

  • Strong understanding of release management, change management, version control, and operational support.

  • General knowledge of Windows OS, Linux, Networking and system integration.

  • Must have strong analysis, design, and project management skills.

  • Must have good customer interaction, training skills and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Specialized Knowledge

  • Experience with Eclipse and relational databases is a plus.

  • Experience with software design tools and code management systems is a plus.
