Raytheon Technologies Senior Engineer Logistics Specialist I in Marlborough, Massachusetts
Raytheon Technologies, Intelligence & Space, is seeking a Failure Reporting, Analysis, Corrective Action System (FRACAS)/ Logistics Engineer to join our team in support of the Air Traffic Navigation, Integration, and Coordination System (ATNAVICS) Program. ATNAVICS is the world's only fully autonomous, International Civil Aviation Organization and National Airspace System compliant, radar approach control system transportable in a single C-130 aircraft. This position supports efforts that occur during Eastern Time zone work schedules.
As a FRACAS/Logistics Engineer, duties include, but are not limited to supporting the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Process, working closely with team members on identifying root cause, corrective actions and conducting data analysis and trending. Will utilize Logistics Engineering expertise and knowledge to apply Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) methods, standards, and techniques to provide clarification of system requirements to software and hardware development teams. Identify logistics engineering impacts to ensure supportability considerations are appropriately applied to systems. Interface across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure integration and continuity in the design, development, and sustainment processes for logistics. Additionally, the FRACAS Logistics Engineer will support activities that will include operational concepts, trade studies, and identify design improvements by performing supportability analyses.
This position requires frequent interaction with Government customers and other internal Program organizations and engineering functions. The selected individual will manage time and resources in order to meet assigned deadlines. Will identify, schedule, and report status on discrete logistics tasks within an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Minimum 4+ years’ experience in the execution of FRACAS analysis and implementation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements and design for sustainment concepts to influence the design of system for supportability considerations including planning, organizing, coordination, integration, execution and managing all aspects of FRACAS analysis and utilizing logistics to analyze and resolve logistics problems relating to operational considerations
Analyze engineering/systems management data, developing plans and procedures
Lead and manage FRACAS and logistic artifacts in support of long-term sustainability of the program and products
Collect, organize, and prepare technical data/documents for review
Experience in gathering, analyzing and/or presenting data
MIL-HDBK-502, MIL-PRF-49506, MIL-STD-1369, MIL-STD-1388, Integrated Product Support Handbook or equivalent industry standards, practices, or methods
Active DoD SECRET
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles, e.g., CPI, SPI, TCPI, etc.
Experience conducting trade studies
Basis of Estimates (BOE)
B.S/B.A Degree in a technical discipline (preferred FRACAS/Logistics Engineering) or related discipline
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
