Sunovion Senior Manager Commercial Information Management in Marlborough, Massachusetts
Sunovion Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Senior Manager of Commercial Information Management to join our Managed Markets organization in Marlborough, MA. Managed Markets performs critical business functions utilizing both standard and customized software solutions. This position is responsible for performing and/or managing tasks in support of those software solutions including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, training, project management, and quality control with primary focus on systems utilized in Contract Development & Assessment, Contract Operations, Medicaid, and Government Pricing. This role functions as liaison with multiple business teams, Sunovion IT, software & data & services vendors, and additional customers as needed to ensure application support and deliverables are provided on-time and efficiently. In addition, this role requires knowledge and experience with planning, coordination, and leadership of cross-functional work teams.The ideal candidate must have a thorough understanding of software support practices including issue identification, problem solving, documentation, and working with both individuals & groups. This individual must be a team player and be able to be flexible and adapt to a changing environment.
Maintain and present system status and project updates to all levels of Management.
Organize and lead cross-functional work teams involving members from both Commercial and General & Administrative Divisions.
Build and maintain relationships with external software and professional services vendors.
Responsible as subject matter expert in software operations and provide initial support to business users.
Document / communicate / monitor unresolved issues to Sunovion IT and/or software vendors and collaborate in identifying causes and solutions.
Ability to work / organize / communicate on multiple projects simultaneously with a high attention to detail and organization.
Confer and coordinate with end users for project planning, system request prioritization and providing project status updates.
Ensure tasks and deliverables meet requirements and are completed on schedule and within budget.
Participate in communications to ensure on- time updates are provided to all appropriate management levels.
Facilitate the mitigation & resolution of risks and issues.
Participate and provide support in creation of test scripts to ensure functionality and data flow throughout the system is accurate and consistent with requirements and design.
Oversee User Acceptance tests and monitor results to ensure acceptance.
Demonstrate a continuous attention to detail and quality as well as consistent maintenance of audit documentation.
Ability to identify root cause issues and provide status as required.
Administer policies / procedures in a consistent manner to ensure Sunovion standards are followed.
Responsible for ensuring that all Customer requests are processed in a timely manner.
Establish strong working relationships with internal and external team members.
Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:
Experience with Model N and Anaplan is required.
Experience with PharmaLytics, Qlikview, Tableau, Pramata, iCertis, and custom-developed solutions is preferred.
Knowledge of Robotic Processing Automation (RPA) capabilities and functionality.
Knowledge of Automated Testing Solutions and application to relevant business cases.
5 to 10 Years working knowledge of support of complex software solutions.
5+ years' experience using query tools against a database to analyze data quality and content.
5+ years of project management experience with a thorough understanding of phases, techniques and tools.
An understanding of a variety of modeling and/or diagramming techniques, with the ability to create Test scripts and the ability to read data flow and entity relationship models.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint).
Customer-focused ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
Strong problem solving, critical thinking, communication, and sound judgment skills.
Solid experience in supporting Production jobs and troubleshooting the production issues in complex software solutions.
Experience delivering best practices for incident, problem, change management activities.
Ability to work with both Technical and Non-Technical coworkers.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, consultants, peers, and supervisors.
Ability to follow or give verbal and written instructions, as applicable.
