    What you’ll do

Enterprise Desktop and Collaboration Services (EDCS) at TJX; plan, build and support enterprise technologies and services that enable our associates to be productive, collaborate seamlessly, communicate effectively in the office, at home or on the go; this ranges from laptops and tablets through to cellular phones and printers, Microsoft Teams and Outlook through to digital signage, Video Conference and call center telephony - a HUGE range of critical products and services!

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Technology who has Service Ownership and Technical Engineering leadership experience for our Desktop and Print services across the enterprise. The service includes and is not limited to: Desktop/Laptop/Tablet, OS, Productivity tools – MS Office, SmartPrint Services, asset management and security, patch compliance, onboarding and offboarding services and technical/service strategy.

This role is expected to be accountable, committed to continual improvement, be contextually aware, operationally pessimistic and partner with Product Management, Architecture, Security and other shared functions.

Good services have instantiated system designs, traceability to functional and non-functional requirements, exceed service level, have defined and applied roadmaps, business continuity plans and meet all standards and policies (to name a few).

This service, which is consumed by thousands of corporate associates across the company enabling productivity, collaboration and communication, is critical to the success of TJX.

Managing, developing and building a talent pipeline of Engineers and Technical Management is how we achieve the work we do, operating within an agile framework of sprints and Kanban flow boards and sourced service management.

As a leader, you will be comfortable working as part of a team, with matrixed management experience, superb communication and influencing skills and a passion for services which put the associate first and focus on value.

This role will have line management responsibilities for up to 15 direct reports.

The position will require commercial experience evaluating the external market, building business cases and managing TCO/RFP processes in conjunction with procurement and legal teams.

You will have fiscal budget responsibilities and build technical and commercial strategies around your owned services.

  • 5+ years of Technical Management experience

  • 5+ years Leadership Experience

  • 5+ years of End User Technology leadership experience

  • Microsoft Certification desirable

  • Non-Microsoft productivity platform experience desirable

  • Outstanding influencing skills

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Outstanding organization skills
