As a Subcontract Program Manager for Naval Radar System Programs, you’ll establish, coordinate and manage subcontracts in support of Integrated Product Teams and Program Management. In this role, you’re the primary contact responsible for meeting subcontract commitments and setting the subcontract program strategy and tactical direction for execution, including financial, quality, technical and schedule performance. Your skill set offers outstanding communication skills and a track record of success in offering solutions to critical issues, and you’re happiest working toward goals in a dynamic, change-oriented environment. Your responsibilities will include: Integrating requirements within the program and serving as liaison between the program and subcontractors. Facilitating implementation of requirements via finance and subcontract management processes. Managing the relationship and communications between subcontractors and Raytheon counterparts. Coordinating activities among Program Management, Integrated Product Team(s) and Engineering. Developing strategy and metrics to measure subcontractor performance including cost, schedule, and technical measures. Using metrics to identify risks and opportunities in sufficient time for action to be taken and ensure program success. Supporting the program office in overall program coordination for subcontractors, including reviews, meetings and staffing planning. Leading the development of subcontractor Statement of Work. Engaging in all future capture efforts associated with subcontractors including, Request for Information; Request for Proposal; proposal review, negotiation and award. Supporting control account managers for all subcontractor scope. Visiting subcontractor locations, surveys subcontractor’s facilities and processes to ensure compliance with Raytheon subcontractor flow down. 20% travel is expected with this role. This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
