What Trusted Advisement contributes to Cardinal Health

Trusted Advisement is responsible for providing technical and professional expertise during the sales process, which may directly influence the following: the crafting of the sales proposal, the operational requirements or risk, the customer's willingness to buy Cardinal Health's solution (Why Cardinal Health?), the timing (Why Now?), or the customer's satisfaction, and contract negotiations.

Accountabilities

  • The Associate Field Service Rep will be responsible for managing customer’s collection programs in the delivery of products & services within an acute care hospital environment
  • Provides inspection services to customers, including container inspection, data collection, packaging of containers for shipment and various other activities as required
  • Prepares weekly summary of services, detailing service needs, rates of collection, and customer needs
  • Work with team to monitor and manage availability of all supplies related to service needs
  • Manage implementation of collection programs to customer base in the assigned territory
  • Support and work with customer to develop education plans to achieve programmatic goals
  • Deliver key performance metrics as defined for assigned unit; meet business goals & objectives assigned
  • Achieve customer satisfaction for products and services through customer and field service interaction
  • Respond to changing business dynamics with flexibility and innovative thinking
  • Maintain and drive quality of all products & services
  • Respond as needed to provided assistance during off hours
  • Maintain credentials to provide service at all customer locations
  • Insure all regulatory and product specific guidelines are met
  • Represent company in a competent & professional manner

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or Technical Certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 yrs work experience
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Customer service, problem solving and analytical skills required
  • Must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions. Proofs must include: Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphteria/Pertussis.
