Job Description:

Position Overview

As a Summer 2021 Software Engineer intern, you will join one of the teams developing industry leading design authoring applications, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Fusion 360 and Maya, used daily by millions of professionals all over the world. You will work on meaningful projects, solving unique challenges, processes and tools supporting development of robust and highly performant programs consisting of millions of lines of code. You will work in close contact with software engineers, user experience designers, and QA engineers. You’ll be able to apply your knowledge of algorithms, data structures, front/back end or full-stack and software design patterns to serve customer needs.

The ideal candidate is a strong programmer who thinks creatively, is naturally innovative, highly collaborative, and has a passion for developing software with cutting edge features that are far reaching and have real impact.

Responsibilities

Object oriented program languages C++, C#, Java and Python

Web related technologies such as JavaScript and HTML and familiarity with mobile platform technologies

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in team environment and successfully build collaborative relationships

Knowledge of Autodesk software is a bonus!

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 and enrolled in college or non-traditional education, such as coding boot camps or industry-related vocational classes and returning back to school or program following the completion of this internship.

A mix of previous internship, school project, volunteer and leadership experience is also important

About the US Intern Program

The U.S. program runs from May through August for 12 weeks and will be remote (subject to change). All internships are paid. Interns have the opportunity to work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in intern events such as TED talks, mentoring, fun events, and more.

US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March.
