The Red Hat Migration Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated individual interested in contributing to our Migration Toolkit Solutions to join us as a Software Engineering Intern. This includes virtual machines (VM), container and app migration along with working in our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment. Primary job responsibilities

• Automate deployment of labs and demos of Migration Toolkit solutions

• Work on continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) integration for Migration Toolkit solutions

• Upstream community interaction

• Migration Toolkit solution integration

Required skills

• Familiarity with Ansible

• Network transport and troubleshooting

• Familiarity with Git*

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins

• Familiarity with API development

• Scripting in Bash, or Python

• Have contributed to at least one open source project or community

• Familiarity with Docker and containerised development and microservice concepts

Experience or knowledge of following are considered a plus:

• Golang

• Ruby

• Java

• Patternfly

• Groovy

• Kubernetes or OpenShift

• VMware

• Red Hat Virtualization

• OpenStack
