The Red Hat Migration Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated individual interested in contributing to our Migration Toolkit Solutions to join us as a Software Engineering Intern. This includes virtual machines (VM), container and app migration along with working in our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment. Primary job responsibilities
Automate deployment of labs and demos of Migration Toolkit solutions
Work on continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) integration for Migration Toolkit solutions
Upstream community interaction
Migration Toolkit solution integration
Required skills
Familiarity with Ansible
Network transport and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Git*
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins
Familiarity with API development
Scripting in Bash, or Python
Have contributed to at least one open source project or community
Familiarity with Docker and containerised development and microservice concepts
Experience or knowledge of following are considered a plus:
Golang
Ruby
Java
Patternfly
Groovy
Kubernetes or OpenShift
VMware
Red Hat Virtualization
OpenStack
