In this new role, as the Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer you'll be responsible for design, development, testing and maintenance of embedded firmware and software for legacy and new products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creates, designs, develops, codes, tests, debugs, provides beta support and implements embedded software, firmware, device drivers, and hardware diagnostics across multiple projects, platforms and architectures.

• Conducts system modeling, simulation and analysis in designing embedded software and firmware systems.

• Works on major project tasks, defines design specifications, develops embedded software and firmware code.

• Demonstrates working knowledge of embedded systems, microprocessor architectures, device drivers, file system internals, networking and communication systems, audio and digital signal processing, and hardware diagnostics

• Documents procedures.

• May be involved individually or as a team member with software projects.

  Requirements

• ARM-based microprocessors and peripherals

• Audio and Digital Signal Processing

• Device driver development

• Communications and Networking

• File system internals

• Understanding of hardware schematics and chip-level components

• Use of emulators, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

• Fluency in C, C++, cross-compilers, GIT, and Linux

• Candidate should also demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and development experience across
