WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Execute and lead all phases of design including initial programming, planning, feasibility, scope and concept development, detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Meet with clients to assess needs and develop an associated project program.
Develop conceptual designs and coordinate with engineers on the design team.
Develop the BIM model for the resulting design and coordinate withinternal and external project team members.
Develop construction drawings and specifications that incorporate client, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Mentor junior architectural staff and assist in professional development.
Travel as required for client development and project execution.
Perform field work as required for project execution (e.g., taking field dimensions, field visits during construction, etc.).
Genesis is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and dynamic team-oriented Process/Project Architect with the ability. This individual should have In addition, the successful candidate will have the ability to execute and lead all phases of design including initial programming, planning, feasibility, scope and concept development, detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Furthermore, the successful candidate shall display a solid working knowledge of the International Building Code and construction document preparation (e.g. graphics, detailing and specifications) as well as organization and distribution during all stages of development (e.g. review, bid, permit, etc.). Project sizes will vary and will include both existing building improvements and new construction.
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of related experience required
Solid working knowledge of the International Building Code and construction document preparation (e.g. graphics, detailing and specifications) as well as organization and distribution during all stages of development (e.g. review, bid, permit, etc.).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written skills
Flexibility to travel as moderately needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with advanced technology industry projects, such as R&D labs, medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food & nutrition and/or consumer products
Experience with pharmaceutical regulatory compliance including material and personnel flow development.
Architectural licensure
NCARB Certification
Knowledge of cGMPs
International experience
