Waters eProcurement Support Manager in Milford, Massachusetts

Waters has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for an eProcurement Support Manager to develop industry leading best practices, deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive excellence in our commercial operations programs/business.

Reporting into our Commercial Operations & Strategy organization, the eProcurement Support Manager will drive the execution of our global eProcurement support infrastructure. This role will provide industry best practices and direct Tier 2 support. Success will require a robust understanding of technical skills, organizational and leadership skills to create outstanding customer experiences throughout the eProcurement journey.

The eProcurement Support Manager will be a key participant in eProcurement and support initiatives to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

  • Manage the everyday direct support of our post-production eProcurement program including inbound/outbound documents and catalogs

  • Partners with our 3rd Party solutions providers to resolve internal and external customer issues

  • Monitors eProcurement activity and makes recommendations to limit the number of failed documents to drive continuous process improvement

  • Problem-solving skills to handle difficult or unexpected situations

  • Analytical skills– Analytical skills in eProcurement technologies such as EDI, cXML, Punchout with the ability to analyze data and examine how to resolve problems.

  • Communication skills – Great communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Problem solving – troubleshooting problems and having the ability to find best in class solutions by using eProcurement best practices

  • Technical knowledge – In depth knowledge of the latest trends in eProcurement technologies, as well as have strong technical knowledge to be able to identify problems and solutions

  • 5-10 years eProcurement experience working in a Global organization

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong Project Management skills

  • Logical thinker with intellectual curiosity

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with eProcurement enablement processes

  • Experience with eProcurement platforms required with an ability to quickly learn new modules/applications

  • Experience with EDI, cXML

  • Requires knowledge of ERP systems, SAP, ERP, SAP IDOC’s, order to cash process/document flow

  • Ability to partner with IT/Digital teams responsible for development and support of eProcurement processes

  • Proven success in working under pressure and delivering to customer timetables

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
