Aerotek Formulation Development Team Lead in Milford, Massachusetts


Job Description:

Directs, administers and supervises the day to day operations and activities of the team

Sets clear team goals

Prioritizes, delegates and controls complex tasks within the team structure

Supports and guides in formulation technology questions

Takes over the role as project leader for formulation development projects

Efficient management of existing staff and recruitment of highly talented associates in collaboration with HR

Develops associates, identifies training needs and provides coaching

Empowers, supports, encourages and urges ownership and responsibility with the team members

Motivates team members

Creates an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

Listens to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts

Recognizes high performance and rewards accomplishments

Encourages creativity and ownership

Creates awareness, shares and implements company visions and company objective

Taking ownership for processes and tasks within its team (entrepreneurial approach in the organization)

Close cooperation with Marketing & Sales and Business Development in customer relationship

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

BS, MS or PhD in biotechnology, chemistry, biology, pharmacy with at least 8 years of industry experience

Formulation Technology competence

Experience in analytics of biologics

General management experience

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Organizational and time-management skills

Decision-making skills

Strong problem-solving competence

Ability to deal with complexity and uncertainty

Entrepreneurial mindset

Dynamic and proactive leader and role model to the team
