As a Technical Lead at Waters Corporation, you will have the opportunity to deliver quality software solutions for the next generation of chromatography data systems, the successor to software being used to develop vaccines for Covid-19. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, design, document and implement quality solutions, while employing best practices for AWS architectures, security, and DevSecOps
Take ownership and responsibility for the delivery and quality of code your team produces.
Liaise with stakeholders for estimation, risk-evaluation, and planning of short- and long- term deliverables
Explain the why, how, and what, that makes the solution technically sound, provide constructive feedback regarding best practices, performance, and maintainability
Stay ahead of the curve with respect to new technologies and techniques with an eye towards continual improvement of both the team’s skill set and the product goals
Engage with engineering management to drive team development and plan for team growth
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
10+ years’ experience in delivering complex large-scale software applications
5+ years’ experience leading multiple teams to deliver cloud-based software solutions
Experience with AWS S3, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift, QuickSight, NeptuneDB, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Cognito
Experience with .NET Core and C#
Strong understanding of DevOps, including Docker, Kubernetes, and DataDog
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across internal and external organizations
Experience with Angular 10+
Knowledge and experience with application servers, n-tier applications, database management systems and open-source trends
Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) process and tools
Domain knowledge of chromatography
