Statement of Purpose: The System Administrator under the guidance of the Supervisor, IT System Administration/Networking develops and maintains the integrity and security of all operational systems. Provides advice, training, technical support for various projects. Functions as security advisor to upper management.
The overall combination of applicable experience and education will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine if the required knowledge, skills and abilities exist.
College degree in IT related discipline or in another discipline with 3 years of system administration experience.
Certifications such as A+, Networks +, MCSE, MCP, CCNA, computer science, system administration, application development, specialty programs or other applicable certifications
A minimum of 3 years of highly responsible and verifiable experience in an information technology environment as a system administrator where applicable skill sets were acquired an/or utilized.
Experience with deploying and managing servers in VMware environment preferred
Experience with managing an enterprise backup solution like EMC Networker preferred
Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP.
Meditech experience preferred
Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting, using, maintaining software applications such as Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook etc.
Experience in project coordination and multitasking
