Steward Health Care System EHR Application Analyst in Needham, Massachusetts

The network is also responsible for the implementation and execution of our managed care contracts, medical management services, quality improvement programs, data analysis, and information services.

Position Purpose: Steward Health Care Network (SHCN) is seeking motivated candidates with previous experience working with physicians and physician practices connecting EHRs to population health platforms. The EHR Coordinator/Application Analyst should have excellent communication and time management skills. This position reports directly to the Program Manager of Population Health Applications.

  • Communicate with local operation teams across the United States to ensure all regions are up to date with current efforts with regards to EHR connectivity to network practice’s EHR

  • Facilitate calls to connect EHR to our Data Warehouse to drive performance and improve quality

  • Serves as the primary contact person for Local Operation Teams, Physicians, Physician practices, and 3rd Party vendor with regards to EHR connectors

  • Serves as primary support contact for Local Operation Teams, Physicians, Physician practices, and 3rd Party vendor with regards to EHR connectors

  • Serves as subject matter expert for all efforts surrounding EHR connectors

  • Ability to assist practices with creating Quality Dashboards in EHR

  • Responsible for documenting completed steps in salesforce

  • Support Program Manager and/or Director with any duties as assigned

    Education / Experience / Other Requirements

    Education:

  • Bachelors’ Degree preferred

    Years of Experience:

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience working with physicians and physician practices

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience working with EHR Vendors

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience working with within a health care organization

    Specialized Knowledge:

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Ability to prioritize work and multitask

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to utilize strong interpersonal skills when interfacing with physicians, physician offices, 3rd party vendors, and operations teams.

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Strong computer skills, word/PowerPoint/excel required

  • Project management experiences (preferred)

  • Familiarity with Salesforce (preferred)
