Kforce UX Designer in Newton Center, Massachusetts

Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX Designer in Newton Center, MA.Overview:The UX Designer will focus on customer-facing digital experience which includes website domain and all of the unauthenticated content, product information and tools, as well as our Online Loan Application, authenticated customer portal, and our native apps. The components of our digital experience require continuous improvement and innovation to help us sustain our market dominance and remain current with consumer expectations.The UX Designer is part of a high-performing and innovative group of design strategists, content writers, researchers, UX/UI designers and developers to help define and deliver game-changing, end-to-end digital experiences that simplify the complex across digital platforms and devices.The UX Designer is instrumental in exploring interaction models, validating UX recommendations and developing prototypes that can be tested with customers and prospects online or in person in our onsite User Research Lab.The UX Designer will be a key contributor in supporting the Agile team with analyzing requirements, validating recommendations, creating wireframes, and supporting design to code implementation. * Good experience within UX work - can understand the problem at hand and solve it on their own * The UX Designer should have a good understanding of human-centered design and UX practices and a critical eye for design quality and an awareness of current design tools (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, Adobe XD) * Be able to help guide JR members of the team * Presentation skills are very important as they will be presenting to higher level management/business partners * Basic understanding of Agile would be great - the mentality of being able to work within agile * Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment/daily stand ups * Well-organized person since there are a lot of tasks/meetings * Candidate should know how to focus and think about the problem and resolve it by themselves; Breaking down the problem into smaller pieces and know what to address/what not to address * Attention to detail, ability to focus and prioritize their own work * Mobile experience is a huge plus - currently missing that experience on their team Nice to haves/Background: * Adobe XZ/Suite - not a deal breaker but should be able to learn new tools relatively quickly * UI aspect would be a huge plus - the standing of design principles, basic layout, stenography, thinking through different flows and interactions but also the sense of if it looks right or not, if not what can be improved * Agency experience is huge - nice to have at least 2 years * UX Research - nice to have but wouldn't be a priority * Some knowledge about Financial services is a huge plus but not a must Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
