State Street Junior Project Manager/Analyst in North Quincy, Massachusetts

Under general supervision, designs, implements, and administers the processes and tools to support the planning and management of the mainframe custody development team’s project queue

  • Drives project planning for minor enhancement projects in the mainframe custody development team’s development queue
  • Ensure all required SDLC artifacts completed via waterfall methodology are accurate, complete, approved and properly archived
  • Support all internal and external audits by attending meetings and supplying requested SDLC artifacts
  • Helps define, establish and support project management communication activities
  • Coordinate project administration, such as time tracking, forecast updates and reporting
  • Deepen business knowledge/skills in custody and apply acquired custody knowledge to requirement/solution documentation for minor enhancement projects
  • Work closely and serve as project management liaison with our offshore development team in China, and our Wipro maintenance and support team located on site and in India
  • Potentially take on Agile Scrum Master responsibilities in future

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in Project/Program Management within the financial services industry
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritize work accordingly
  • Experience with RTC (Rational Team Concert) preferred
  • Strong user of the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project
