Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain a Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) program for new and existing products.

  • Prepare reliability predictions, analyses and documentation required to ensure the product will meet the defined R&M requirements.

  • Analyze equipment design for reliability and maintainability (R&M) design aspects.

  • Review selected equipment for R&M performance and determine suitability.

  • Provide feedback to the design team related to tradeoffs and issues regarding R&M.

  • Support part selection for product design efforts and obsolescence analyses.

  • Participate in the development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Safety, and Human Factors plans and related analyses.

  • Contribute to the development scheduled/corrective maintenance procedures, spare parts lists, and tools & test equipment lists.

  • Analyze Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) requirements.

  • Develop Failure Mode and Effects Criticality Analysis.

  • Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans.

  • Develop test plans, procedures & cases.

  • Conduct tests and document results.

  • Use software tools, scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting.

  • Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users.

  • Supports development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.

  • Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field

  • GPA of 3.0 or greater

    Preferred Skills:

  • Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration and/or project management, and/or model-based systems engineering

  • Familiar with Rhapsody
