Principal – MDM and Data Governance (Payer/Provider focus)

IQVIA Healthcare Solutions supports healthcare payers, providers and other risk bearing entities with product and service-based offerings that leverage vast data assets, advanced analytics and technology to solve complex business challenges. This Principal role is a leadership position within our Offerings and Delivery organization which is responsible for all Product Management, Product Engineering, Service Delivery, Support and Managed Services.

The Principal is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the team and ensuring business objectives and customer needs are met. The Principal is accountable for overall delivery of a set of service offering across clients/projects, quality control, profitability, and high customer satisfaction. This role will also require a high level of attention to the team members, growing existing team members and onboarding new employees as necessary to support growth, while ensuring the proper training and work/life balance is maintained.

The Principal will define a set of accelerated offerings to bring to market, collaborate with product engineering in the development of products and accelerators, and oversee deployment of their offerings to our clients.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and grow a team that supports enterprise data management initiatives at healthcare payers and providers through enterprise data governance, data quality, master data management, reference data management, and data cataloging

  • Provide strategic thought leadership, enterprise data governance strategy, roadmaps, technology, and approaches to the operationalization of enterprise data programs for multiple key strategic healthcare payer and provider accounts.

  • Provide oversight on multiple client engagements implementing master data management, data quality, data catalog and data governance technologies, focusing on client satisfaction and delivery quality.

  • Educate account teams in our capabilities and positioning within client, support proposal development and contract scope, resource and pricing.

  • Advise CDO's on emerging MDM/DQ/DG technologies and strategies consistent with clients' business strategies.

  • Engage client Architects, Business SMEs, and other stakeholders throughout Solution/Data Architecture and implementation lifecycle and recommend effective solutions aligned with client’s goals & objectives.

  • Contribute to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA Healthcare.

  • Has responsibility for people/talent development.

You will be successful if you have:

  • 10 years’ experience in the healthcare industry (payer/provider) and/or healthcare IT consulting

  • In depth and long standing relationships with client companies, especially at a senior level.

  • Deep expertise in at least one practice area along with knowledge of all other practices.

  • Has broad knowledge of the industry.

  • In-depth understanding of the IQVIA data assets and the IQVIA core offerings.

  • Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline.

  • Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques, related to functional area.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace and professional/trade associations key people and companies.

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning and change management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.

  • Values people’s opinions and encourages knowledge sharing.

  • High level of energy, drive and enthusiasm.
