What You Will Do: You will be building out customer enrollment plans, learning about a large amount of different product lines, and making an impact on customers’ lives. This is a role where you will never be bored! You will own your cases, develop relationships with external vendors, and work with an amazing team that feels like family.

The Account Implementation Specialist is an integral partner in managing enrollment entry and building relationships. What Success Looks Like:

  • Completes system build requirements on EIS (Employer Information system), AWD and Electronic Enrollment platforms to ensure that new and existing groups are completed accurately and within established enrollment timelines

  • Act as primary subject matter expert & main point of contact for questions regarding applications received as additions to groups, EIS configuration, Electronic Enrollment systems configuration and questions from other internal departments needing clarification of group’s system parameters.

  • Manage and maintain good communication and solid working relationships with internal and external partners in order to facilitate the seamless installation of new employers or changes to existing accounts.

  • Ensure systems are configured accurately and according to requirements provided.

  • Communicate details and status of group’s implementation to stakeholders accordingly.

  • Conduct usability tests on electronic enrollment cases to make sure that brokers and/or enrollers using the system will not become confused or encounter problems.

  • Provide account specific electronic enrollment training for brokers and enrollers.

  • Create and communicate instructional guides and helpful tips/troubleshooting techniques to users of the software.

  • Manage new and existing group queues, run electronic files, spreadsheets and releasing paper applications to New Business Processing maintaining department service standards.

  • Assist with research/questions using analytical skills to determine the appropriate action needed to resolve issues timely, both internally and externally.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all information as defined by company standards.

  • Communicate with a cross-section of stakeholders including brokers, management, enrollers, employers and clients, and other internal departments.

  • Upload and define criteria for Census loads within Census Translator tool.

What You Need:

  • Associate’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience

  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills and the ability to apply analytical expertise on challenging issues.

  • The ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to diverse situations, and reflect a high level of accountability.

  • Excellent attention to detail, project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and service level standards.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in the insurance or financial service industry.

  • It would be helpful (but not necessary) to have a basic understanding of underwriting concepts, voluntary life and health insurance products.
