We are seeking an Service Desk Support Specialist the position performs a variety of functions related to all electronic information systems, and computer support services including but not limited to: management of devices; inventory control & management; procurement; repair; config; deployment; break-fix installation; maintenance; troubleshooting; administration; training and operation of computer systems hardware; software; network systems; telecommunications and related equipment; and, performs related duties as required and assigned. inventory control & management/procurement/repair/config/deployment/break-fix
Provide device management
Provide excellent customer service always
Management of full device life cycle process including ordering, fixing, improving process details of all calls and update ticketing system appropriately (Manage Engineer Service Desk Plus experience ideal)
Prior experience with break fix
Assist in the installation of all hardware, software, wiring and equipment
Diagnose and fix computer hardware and driver-related problems, including but not limited to problems related to malfunctioning hard drives, network cards, power supplies, and video cards and other computer subsystems and parts.
Perform preventative maintenance on devices system
Repair, reconfigure or replace defective or under-performing workstations.
Assist in maintaining inventory of IT equipment.
Download and install new virus signature files as needed.
Track internal user support issues/needs, asset management, Asset tagging, system updates and support trends using Help Desk tracking software, MS Office tools, and other products.
Excellent documentation, communication, and customer service skills
Strong working knowledge of PC's and laptops (Dell, Microsoft surface pros and Lenovo’s)
Ability to troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues
Ability to think outside the box and identify root cause
Working knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems and basic computer hardware components
Prior experience with ticketing systems (Service Now, Remedy, ConnectWise, etc.)
Prior experience with Windows Operating Systems, MS Office, remote desktop services, and network troubleshooting
Secure remote access
Intermediate experience with MAC/iOS/Android mobile platforms
