The Brien Center MIS Help Desk Associate in Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Weekdays, 1st Shift with on-call rotation! General Description To function as a Key member of the IT department providing help desk support county wide Essential Job Functions Provide help desk support for technology issues, via telephone, for software, hardware and telephone questions from Brien Center Staff County wide. Problem resolution may require physical trips to Brien Center facilities. Setup and maintain system users in various programs including Windows domain environment Coordinate and grant users access to the virtual gateway Manage all agency cell phones - Including ordering, tracking, and user support Assist in the setup of agency terminals and laptops and other devices, including providing user training. Maintenance of agency phone / email directories. Trouble shoot computer and software problems and work with IT Team and consultants to resolve them Provide mobile equipment setup and use training for staff. Track helpdesk calls and assist in development of effective tracking systems Maintain system backups and logs Track equipment via asset tags Document internal procedures Participate in rotation of monthly on-call support Maintain report runs schedules as needed Maintain neat and orderly work area, and equipment storage areas Attend all required agency meetings User report design for various software applications Coordinate and log client eligibility downloads and reporting uploads for Community partners Assist billing with fill transmission and reporting issues Other Responsibilities Support and maintain the principles and policies of the agency Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with client and organizational records Flexibly respond to program scheduling needs Represent the agency in a professional manner in all community contacts Demonstrate a commitment to the Agency's mission and community mental health principles Qualifications Associates Degree in an IT related field or 2 years of equivalent IT related experience required Experience working in a help desk or similar capacity required 1-2 years of prior reception or customer service at the key-holder or supervisory level or 2-3 years centralized customer service experience strongly desired. Hands on business experience with a variety of computer hardware and software applications Other Requirements Ability to pass a CORI (Criminal Background Check) and DMV (Deprtment of Motor Vehicles) check Drivers license and ability to use a personally insured vehicle for agency business
