Manager, Programming and Project Management - Information Systems Under the general direction of the Chief Information Officer, leads Systems Analysis and Development staff in development of software solutions for the Credit Union, Insurance Agency, and Greylock Technology Group. Key Job Requirements: 1.Performs any functions, within scope of authority and expertise to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to the members served by the Credit Union while performing all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines and Credit Union policies and procedures. 2.Manages, coaches and develops plans for success for systems analysts, programmers, developers and project managers. Conducts performance reviews and makes hiring and promotional recommendations. Provides staff guidance and ongoing development as needed 3.Assists in the management and growth of Greylock Technology Group. Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities. Develops plans to implement strategic, tactical, and daily goals of the credit union. 4.Writes and implements policy and procedural changes as needed to support prescribed requirements. Recommends new approaches and procedures to improve efficiency and streamline duties. Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects. Decide on suitable strategies and objectives. Coordinate cross-project activities. 5.Ensures that staff is informed and in compliance; conducts periodic meetings to provide updated information. Directly responsible for adhering to compliance and regulatory developments pertinent to department. Related Responsibilities: Back-up other IS Managers as needed. Promotes the Credit Union wherever and whenever possible. Required to actively represent the Credit Union in local civic, community and professional organizations. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or its equivalent in specialized course work, training and certifications. Excellent leadership/managerial, planning, organizational, communication, analytical, negotiation, prioritization, and decision making skills. Ten years of related experience, preferably in financial services. Experience working with the Fiserv core processing system (DNA) is desired. Strong understanding of Change Management principles, Software development, project management, and systems analysis. Other: May require evening and weekend hours. Supervisory Scope: At least 4 direct reports.
